This presentation shares the work of student teams who collaborated with professionals in engineering, materials science, sustainability sciences, and business to develop new and innovative designs for public drinking fountains.


Anti-Microbial Solutions for Supply Chain

This research investigates the use of nanomaterials to lower the risk of food-borne illness and increase shelf life of food products without increasing the use of preservatives.

Optimized Processes for Customs Compliance

This research explores automation opportunity in tariff classification and its impact on compliance management.


Passive RFID Sensing Technology for Supply Chain Traceability

Presented by Dr. Prem Chahal

This project focuses on the use of active RFID technology to prevent product contamination, counterfeiting, piracy and loss of capital.


Product Authentication and Anti-Tampering Solutions for Packaging

Presented by Dr. Evangelyn Alocilja

This project aims to develop novel next-generation, anti-counterfeiting technologies that will combine the use of novel nanomaterials and DNA tags to be coupled with data-carrying devices such as smart phones.
